Draftsman

Custom manufacturer is looking for an experienced draftsman/designer/CAD operator to layout mechanical parts in AutoCAD 2005 and generate the quote details required for customer approval.  The successful applicant will be required to interact directly with customers via phone, fax, and/or e-mail until their requirements are met.  The successful applicant will also be required to identify, locate, and price special components from various vendors as required by the customer.
-Must be proficient (5+ years) with AutoCAD R14, or newer.
-Must have good written and oral interpersonal skills.
-Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc.) a plus
-Experience using a document management system a plus
-General shop/machining knowledge a plus

Machinist

Convertech is a leading manufacturer of expanding shafts and chucks. We produce a very custom product with very short lead times.

Due to our dynamic growth, we have ongoing openings in the following departments:

-Manual lathe
-Manual milling
-CNC turning - programmers and operators
-CNC milling - programmers and operators
-Grinding
-Material prep

Our hours are 7 AM to 3:30 PM with a half hour lunch.
