Uniquely featured on Convertech Lug Shafts, QuickChange™ Bladder Repair Cartridges are designed with the operator in mind. Each QuickChange™ Bladder Repair Cartridge is an all inclusive repair part which can be kept in stock inexpensively; much less expensively than the time lost during a typical air shaft bladder repair. Using only common hand tools (pliers and hex wrenches) an operator can quickly remove the old bladder cartridge and install and position the replacement in ten minutes or less.
There are no special banding tools or hydraulic presses required. By keeping a spare bladder cartridge as a backup you can ensure maximum uptime.
Lug type air shafts are the most popular and versatile of the gripping types. They are the most economical, easiest and quickest to repair.
