"Since we installed the Convertech Differential Shafts on our Dusenbery 835 in mid-2004, we have had nothing but an increase in production due to less downtime! Not only can we run many different film widths across the shafts, but we can still maintain proper tensions - something that we were not able to consistently do prior on this slitter. Plus we are now able to run the slitter at higher speeds without any issues at all. To date, we are problem free as Convertech promised, plus the delivery date was outstanding (approx. 1-month).
From our prior experience with Differential Shafts from a Convertech competitor, these shafts far superior! I just wish I went to Convertech in the first place before I had the "nightmare experience" in dealing with another manufacturer. I guess I will never again discard the "lowest price quote" thinking that it would also mean, lower quality. Convertech proved me wrong, and they indeed will be the next choice without a doubt for any and all future shafts!"
