Small diameter shaft bladder replacement

  1. Before you begin, release the air pressure from the shaft.
  2. Mark the orientation of the pin hole for reference.
  3. Carefully remove the pin and slide out the stem.
  4. Slide or cut the bladder off of the shaft.
  5. Lubricate and slide new bladder on shaft.
  6. Secure the shaft in a padded vise.
  7. To secure the new bladder in place, carefully wrap both ends of the new bladder and tie off securely.
  8. Trim the excess string and excess bladder material.
  9. Slide stem back into the shaft and replace the pin.
