Air Roll Lock Differential Shaft assembly tip #1 – Removing roll locks

  1. Before you begin, release the air pressure from the shaft.
  2. Loosen the screws and remove the end cap.
  3. Using electrical tape, wrap the shaft tightly to prevent the inner cams and buttons from falling out.
  4. Slide the roll locks off of the shaft.
  5. You can also use this method to replace roll lock o-rings.

Air Roll Lock Differential Shaft assembly tip #2 – Shaft disassembly

  1. Before you begin, release the air pressure from the shaft.
  2. Begin by setting the shaft vertically, upright, to prevent pins from dropping out of the shaft.
  3. Loosen and remove end caps, and loosen the screws on the shaft end.
  4. Carefully remove the bladder assembly.
  5. You can also slide the roll locks off of the shaft.

  7. To reassemble, very carefully slide the bladder assembly back into the  shaft.
  8. Align the bladder with the pilot hole and reassemble.
