Why waste time with lengthy repairs and costly downtime? By designing our expanding shafts and chucks to accomodate our customer’s needs we have insured an easy-to-use and easy-to-repair product line.
Leaf-Style O-Ring Bladder Replacement
To change the bladder on a leaf style O-Ring bladder style core holder:
1. Before you begin, release the air pressure from the shaft.
2. Remove all screws and snap rings to remove the end cap.
3. Remove the key from the shaft to allow removal of the compression ring.
4. Slide the leaves off the shaft to expose the bladder.
5. Carefully remove the o-ring from both ends.
6. Slide or cut the bladder off of the shaft.
7. Lubricate the new bladder and slide it on the shaft.
8. Replace the metal compression ring and o-ring on both ends.
9. Trim the bladder, making sure to keep the edge as straight as possible.
10. Finally, replace the leaves and end caps to complete the repair.
